Zero waste is easy

Living zero waste is easier then I thought. It makes a lot more sense then throwing away perfectly good things because they are made for one use and then thrown away. Who would ever use a nice mug once and then throw it away? But every day millions of people drink their coffee and throw away their cup.

The real reason for the waste is disconnection. When we have no connection with what happens next in the process we are unconnected and so we don't give it any thought. We may not consciously think it but we treat the trash can as if it is a magical cylinder that makes things disappear, never to be seen again.

While most people will never see their coffee cup again, they will see one that is the same or similar on average 100 times in just one year. And all of those cups go into that same magic bin. The amount of food waste we make is astounding. Unfortunatly most of us never see it because of the magic bins that line our streets and parks and homes. If even a small percent off America would take responsibility for their garbage consumption and push the Market for more sustainable practices we could really get a lot done.

So that's what I'm here for. To show you how to take responsibility as a consumer, because consumers create and shape the market. We truly have the power to say how we want the world through our dollar.

Start today by getting a reusable bag. Carry it with you wherever you go. Bring your own water bottle, or mason jar with you at all times too. Opt for no straw and bring your own utensils and cloth napkin. These few things right here could change the world. 🌍✌🌍✌🌍✌🌍✌🌍✌
